Tailgating

While nothing official has been released yet- as Clemson is currently waiting on its proposal to be approved- we do have some insight as to what tailgating will look like.

The Clemson Insider reported last week that Clemson is planning to allow tailgating for fans who have parking passes. Those parking passes will be given out on an individual-game basis and you’ll be expected to pretty much stay with your own party. Clemson officials will be monitoring those lots to keep big crowds from gathering together.

In addition, TCI reported that parking lots will likely be opening much later than what Tiger fans are used to (most likely just 4-5 hours before kickoff) and fans will be asked to leave following the game rather than sticking around and tailgating post-game.

We can expect tailgating to look much different this year than ever before and that’s certainly going to take some time to get used to.
