Clemson football has three seniors that are in the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl watch list.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl has been in operation since 1950 and has featured Clemson football seniors many times over the past 70 years. Three Tiger seniors were announced as part of the games Top 250 watch list for 2021.

For those that are unfamiliar with the Senior Bowl, here is a quick snippet of what this game is and why it is so important-

"Two teams, representing the North and the South, are coached by select coaching staff from two NFL teams. The week-long practice that precedes the game is attended by key NFL personnel including coaches, general managers, and scouts, who oversee the players as possible prospects for pro football."

The three Clemson football seniors that were announced on the 2021 watch list should not come as a surprise to anyone that has paid attention – running back Travis Etienne, wide receiver Amari Rodgers and safety Nolan Turner.

Chances are Etienne will turn down his inevitable invite to the game but this would be a huge opportunity for both Nolan Turner and Amari Rodgers should they ultimately be invited. Both are seen as small for their positions and can use the week around NFL personnel to open eyes and turn some heads.

The 2020 game featured three former Clemson football players, all of which used the game to show NFL personnel that they could indeed play the game and all three of them were ultimately drafted in the 2020 NFL draft.

Last year, K’Von Wallace, John Simpson, and Tremayne Anchrum all suited up for the South team and played for Bengals head coach Zac Taylor. The North team coached by Lions coach Matt Patricia won the game 34-17.
