Clemson Football: 5 biggest questions for 2020 season

4. Will there be fans in the stands?

This is the last question I’ll ask pertaining to off-the-field situations (though there are hundreds). If we’re able to play a season, what does that mean concerning fans?

It’s pretty obvious at this point we won’t see 80,000 Clemson football fans packing Death Valley, but that still doesn’t mean we won’t have any fans this fall.

This question is if the Tigers- as well as local and state legislators and health officials- will allow fans and how many they will allow. The Southern 500, held at the Darlington Raceway in South Carolina on Labor Day weekend, has been approved to host up to 8,000 fans at the annual race.

Could we see similar numbers, perhaps with increases as the Clemson football season progresses? That remains to be seen.
