Clemson Football: 5 non-conference opponents that are still on the table

4. Appalachian State

Appalachian State, just like Coastal Carolina, is in the Sun Belt Conference and the expectation- at least at this point- is that the conference is going to play.

App State has an opening the same week as the Tigers currently on its schedule and it would be a short trip for the Mountaineers to make from Boone to Clemson.

This is about as close to a ranked opponent as Clemson could get on this schedule in the non-conference and would certainly be an exciting match-up to watch.
