6. Tajh Boyd

Remember that 4th-and-16 play that we were just talking about? Well, it would’ve never happened with the leadership and toughness of Tajh Boyd.

Boyd sometimes get overlooked because of the elite-level quarterback as of late in the program, but there’s no doubt that he started it all.

Boyd is the all-time passing leader in Clemson football history with 11,904 passing yards and 107 touchdowns and he was instrumental in helping the program take the next step. Boyd led the Tigers to several marquee victories, including wins over LSU , Ohio State and Georgia.
