13. Clelin Ferrell
Though Clelin Ferrell wasn’t the most dominant defensive end we’ve ever seen, there’s no doubt that he made a major mark on the Clemson football program.
Ferrell was a three-year starter and totaled 166 tackles, 50 tackles for loss and 27 snaps during his career. He made a major impact on two National Championship teams and he gets extra points for choosing to return to school following the 2017 season rather than moving onto the NFL when he easily could have.
Ferrell is the only the second two-time, first-team AP All-American in program history and he made is currently tied for fourth all-time in sacks.
In addition to the accolades he racked up during those three seasons, Ferrell became tied for the highest-drafted player in Clemson history when he went No. 4 overall, joining an elite group that includes only Banks McFadden, Gaines Adams and Sammy Watkins.
