15. Da’Quan Bowers

Though Da’Quan Bowers was highly touted coming out of high school, many were beginning to doubt his ability following his sophomore season when he had yielded just four total sacks in his fiirst two years on campus, much of it due to injury.

That all changed after his junior season, though.

Bowers absolutely exploded and was dominant during that 2010 campaign that saw him post 67 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks. That performance earned him the honors of being named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and he was given the Bronko Nagurski Trophy.
