Clemson Football: 4 Tiger rookies who will make big NFL splashes in 2020
Four Clemson football rookies who will make a big NFL splash
The Clemson football program has been one of the top producers of talent in the NFL over the past half-decade and that will continue this season.
The Tigers saw several players get drafted during the 2020 NFL Draft and there’s no doubt that we’re going to see many of the former Clemson football players go on to have successful professional careers.
As we prepare for the start of the 2020 season, here are four Tiger rookies who will make big NFL splashes during their first professional season.
4. Tanner Muse
Tanner Muse may be a name that surprises you a little bit to be on this list.
Muse had some deficiencies at the collegiate level playing safety and now he’ll have to adjust to a completely different speed in the NFL.
That being said, the Las Vegas Raiders know what they want to do with the Clemson football rookie.
Muse is going to transition to playing more of a nickel/SAM role with the Raiders and that will give him the opportunity to use his physicality, as well as his elite speed, to his advantage. People don’t realize just how athletic Muse is- and he proved that at the NFL Combine.
Muse had some troubles in coverage from the safety position, but he very well could be bred to play that hybrid spot at the next level. He’s going to get on the field early and very well could be a big-time play-maker.
