9.  @ Boston College

Going up to Chestnut Hill has not been the easiest task in the world for the Clemson football program over the past decade, but it’s not one that should instill much concern this time around.

Boston College is rebuilding and will be without their star rusher A.J. Dillon. While there’s reason to believe the Eagles could take a step forward from last year’s 6-7 season, Boston College still doesn’t have the talent or depth to compete against Clemson.

One thing that could be working in Boston College’s favor is the fact that the Eagles will be taking on the Tigers earlier in the season (Oct. 2 on a Friday night) as opposed to later. Perhaps they catch Clemson napping?
