Clemson Football: Ranking the 2020 schedule by difficulty
11. vs. Akron
Just like The Citadel game, the match-up with Akron is going to mean much more to the future of the program than the present.
The Tigers will host the Akron Zips on September 19th and this will be a game where we’ll see a lot of Phommachanh and Uiagalelei early.
I would expect to see the Tigers work on positions and building depth- especially at wide receiver and offensive line- as well as in the secondary. That’s not to say that Akron couldn’t put up a fight if everything went perfectly for them, but this shouldn’t be too much of a threat for Clemson football.
