1. Houston Texans

Bill O’Brien needs to go in Houston and I think the vast majority of Clemson football fans would agree with that statement.

The Texans have potential to be legitimate contenders, but it seems that he is holding the franchise back and wasting a golden opportunity to ascend to the next level with Deshaun Watson at the helm.

Give Dabo Swinney a roster with the Texans’ talent- before the ‘Nuk Hopkins trade- and he’ll find a way to get the team deep into the postseason. Give Dabo Swinney a couple of years to build his staff and his team, and he’ll win you a Super Bowl.

The Texans would absolutely welcome Swinney with open arms.

The main point of this post is not to talk about potential NFL jobs for Swinney because it’s just not realistic currently, but it is to point out how good Clemson football fans have it. Swinney could absolutely have a successful career in the NFL if he wanted to- and I’m not so sure that he does.

Either way, though, Tiger fans should be grateful to have a Head Coach with the skill, class and character of Swinney leading their program.
