Clemson football has had 42 players drafted since the 2014 NFL draft and a lot of those draft picks are still playing on Sundays.

The NFL schedule for all 32 teams was released Thursday evening. While many Clemson football fans do watch the NFL and may have a favorite team, they also want to watch former Clemson players on Sunday.

With the Tigers program reaching the heights that they are, teams from across the NFL are clamoring to add the leadership and playing ability of those that have spent three to four years at Clemson as they come in prepared and more mature than many other programs.

While there are drawbacks to evolving technology, the great aspect of this evolution is that we have the ability to watch whatever NFL team we choose every week of the NFL season.

This makes watching former Tigers that much easier.

However, when looking at all 256 NFL games, which games do you choose to watch? We have taken the liberty and gone through the entire NFL schedule and narrowed it down to the three NFL games you must watch in 2020.

These three games will feature Tigers on both sides of the field and will give you an opportunity to cheer for some of your favorite former Clemson football players!

Kansas City Chiefs vs Houston Texans

  • Thursday, September 10th – 8:20 PM EDT

The current Super Bowl Champion Chiefs will take on the Houston Texans to start the NFL season just over four months from now.

This game is not nearly as fun as it would have been in 2019 as the Texans stupidly traded All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins and former Clemson football defensive tackle D.J. Reader left for Cincinnati but there are still five former Tigers that will appear in this game.

The Chiefs feature Sammy Watkins, Dorian O’Daniel as well as cornerback Bashaud Breeland and the Texans will have former Clemson football defensive lineman Carlos Watkins and Pro-Bowl quarterback and Clemson great Deshaun Watson.

While most Tiger fans would agree that Watson should get the heck out of Houston before head coach Bill O’Brien burns the franchise to the ground, it is always fun to watch Deshaun spin the ball!

Miami Dolphins at Arizona Cardinals

  • Sunday, November 8th – 4:25 PM EST

Like the Las Vegas Raiders, the Miami Dolphins are starting to accumulate a few former Clemson football greats. The 2020 version of the Dolphins will see three former Tigers take the field when the regular season kicks off.

The Dolphins spent a first-round pick on the loveable Christian Wilkins in 2019 while Cordrea Tankersley will suit up for the Dolphins for his fourth consecutive year. Shaq Lawson chose to leave the Buffalo Bills in free agency back in March when he took his talent to South Beach to join Wilkins on the defensive line.

The Arizona Cardinals will feature two former Clemson football greats in receiver DeAndre Hopkins and linebacker Isaiah Simmons, whom the club drafted eighth overall a few weeks ago.

Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons

  • Sunday, November 29th – 1:00 PM EST

You cannot mention NFL games worth watching if you do not mention the Raiders. Clemson football is seemingly becoming a factory for the silver and black.

During version 2.0 of the Jon Gruden regime, they have drafted five former Tigers – Clelin Ferrell, Trayvon Mullen, and Hunter Renfrow all in 2019 as well as Tanner Muse and John Simpson in 2020.

When they travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons, they will have to face two more former Clemson football players in Grady Jarrett and 2020 first-round pick A.J. Terrell.

All seven of those players will see plenty of playing time in 2020, so this is a game all Clemson fans must watch!

There are more than 40 former Clemson football players on NFL rosters. These three games will give you a chance to watch nearly half of them. While we may not all agree on which team to root for every Sunday, we can all agree it is fun to watch for Tigers living out their dreams one Sunday at a time!
