Greatest Clemson football players of Danny Ford era: 6. Chester McGlockton

Chester McGlockton is considered by many to be one of the most dominant defensive lineman in the history of Clemson football.

Though he didn’t play his entire career under Danny Ford, McGlockton was one of the final talented players in the wave before Ford resigned.

McGlockton earned Freshman All-American honors in 1989 and went on to finish his career with 20.5 sacks. He was a first-round draft pick with the Oakland Raiders in 1992 and went on to play 11 seasons in the NFL, earning Pro Bowl honors four times and All-Pro honors three times.
