1. Carolina Panthers

The team that will most regret not selecting Isaiah Simmons isn’t the New York Giants or the Detroit Lions, though.

It’s the team that many Clemson football fans have rooted for many years. The Carolina Panthers had an opportunity to finally take their first Tiger in draft history at pick No. 7 and, instead, elected to go with Auburn DT Derrick Brown.

Brown is an extremely talented defensive tackle who will have a lengthy career in the NFL, but there are many analysts who don’t even believe he’s the best defensive tackle in this class.

Simmons would’ve been the perfect replacement for Luke Kuechly and could’ve taken the Panthers to the new age of football defensively.

Next. Tee Higgins learned a tough lesson. dark

Instead, it seems that the Panthers are content with throwing away the 2020 season with the hopes of getting a high selection in next year’s draft.
