2. New York Giants
The New York Giants selected at No. 4 and were heavily linked to Simmons throughout the pre-draft process.
The Giants were expected to either address the defense by taking Simmons or address the offense by taking an offensive lineman. They chose the latter.
The Giants went with the ‘safe pick’ and took Andrew Thomas– who was probably the most consistent offensive tackle in the draft, but he also has the lowest ceiling of the group of top four.
Now, I’d expect the Giants to have a future very similar. They may turn into a solid team, but they’ll never become Championship-esque because of their miss.
