What does the offensive line look like for Clemson football as we head into the summer. Here’s our post-spring analysis and depth chart projection.

The Clemson football team will have to replace four starters from last year’s offensive line.

The Tigers return a massive amount of talent at skill-positions- led by Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, Justyn Ross, Amari Rodgers and Lyn-J Dixon– but the major question will be how they fill those holes on the offensive line.

Here’s a look at our post-spring depth chart projection and analysis for the offensive line.

Post-Spring Depth Chart:

LT: Jackson Carman

LG: Matt Bockhorst

  • Hunter Rayburn

C: Cade Stewart

RG: Will Putnam

  • Bryn Tucker

RT: Jordan McFadden

  • Kaleb Boateng/Mason Trotter

Post-Spring Analysis:

Jackson Carman returns for presumably one last season as the starting left tackle for the Tigers. Carman should be a preseason All-American at the position and has the opportunity to project into the first-round before it’s all said and done.

While there are question marks outside of Carman, there is plenty of talent to go around.

The starting five seems etched out at this point with Cade Stewart taking over at center and having a good spring alongside Matt Bockhorst and Will Putnam in the interior of the offensive line and Jordan McFadden rounding out the line at right tackle.

From all accounts, McFadden had one of the best springs of any offensive lineman and seems poised to take that next step in becoming an All-ACC caliber player. He’ll absolutely have the opportunity to prove his talent and become a leader along the offensive line this season.

Outside of the starters, there is talent but inexperience.

The Tigers have some young players who were highly-recruited who will have the opportunity to fill in that second-string and earn some reps.
