1. The entire draft process

Building on the talk of the draft, the truth is that the entire draft process would have to change.

There’s no way the NFL could have a draft in April or May when a College Football season wouldn’t have even finished at that point.

Players that were hoping to increase their draft stock may have very little time to do so.

In addition to the actual draft, you have the NFL Combine, player interviews and pro days that help NFL franchises determine their key targets. There’s no way all of that could be done during the season and it would be a stretch to have it start immediately after the end of the season.

Clemson football fans should certainly keep their eyes open for things that could be coming down the pipe, but the truth is that it’s still too early to know what will happen.
