2. Draft-Eligible Withdrawals

Even if the NFL chose to postpone its 2021 NFL Draft, College Football would likely see a major increase in draft-eligible upperclassmen electing to sit-out the spring season.

Why?

Well, they won’t want to risk getting injured potentially a month or two before they get drafted. They also won’t want to play the entire spring and then have to turn around and play their first professional season without time to recover.

The big names could all be gone- or elect to sit out- and it would be tough to blame many of them.
