The Clemson football faithful have had quite the dealing with Ohio State fans over the course of the last few months. The ACC Network laid down the truth.

There’s been a lot of back-and-forth between Clemson football and Ohio State fans over the course of the last few months.

Since the Tigers defeated the Buckeyes 29-23, there’s been plenty of banter from Clemson football fans, and whining from Ohio State fans.

While that will likely continue through the offseason until we play more football, the ACC Network posted on Twitter this week and absolutely laid down the ‘trump card’ in the entire debate between the Tigers and Buckeyes.

No matter what you believe, the fact is that Clemson has never lost to Ohio State. The Tigers are a perfect 4-0, with three victories against the Buckeyes in the last decade.

Ohio State fans to this day are upset about a couple of officiating calls that went against them, but fail to accept the cold hard truth when it comes to that game: Clemson made the plays to win the game and Ohio State didn’t.

The Buckeyes had a 16-0 lead and blew it. They allowed Trevor Lawrence to lead the Tigers on a 4-play, 94-yard drive to score the game-winning touchdown in less than two minutes and then, to top it all off, Justin Fields threw an interception in the end zone when the Buckeyes were driving down the field with a chance to score and win the game after Lawrence’s heroic drive.

It’s fun to see some banter and rivalry developing between the two fanbases. Clemson and Ohio State are going to continue to battle on the field and on the recruiting trail for the foreseeable future, so the two programs better get used to one another. It’s going to be fun.
