2. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers lost Luke Kuechly to retirement and now they’ll be looking for that next option at the linebacker position.

Could Simmons be the answer?

The Panthers are selecting with the No. 7 overall pick and have been linked to Auburn DT Derrick Brown in many mock drafts.

That being said, Simmons will have a chance to impress the organization and would be a perfect fit for the defense that is in need of help.

It’s hard to see the Panthers passing on Simmons, especially after he completely kills it at the NFL Combine.
