3. Mike Jones Jr., LB

Mike Jones Jr. saw limited playing time last season as he filled in the second-string position behind Isaiah Simmons.

Well, that won’t be the case this year.

It’s my belief that we’ll see Jones Jr. win the SAM/Nickel starting position and he won’t just be another player on the field, but a standout performer.

Of course, no one can ever replace Simmons, but Jones Jr. has the athleticism and versatility to develop into the next great defender for the Tigers.
