An offer from the Clemson football program means much more than people understand. The Tigers are extremely selective with numbers.

The Clemson football coaching staff is very careful when it comes to offering scholarships.

Just because of prospect has talent or star-ratings doesn’t mean that they’ll get a scholarship offer from the Tigers or climb to the top of the recruiting board.

Instead, the Clemson football program has been built on finding the right fit which includes all kinds of considerations like talent, character and academics.

The latest 2021 cycle scholarship offer numbers for across the country have been released. Just as expected, an offer from the Clemson football program means a lot.

Now that you’ve seen how many offers some of Clemson’s peers have offered, what do you think the Tigers’ total is so far for the 2021 cycle? The answer: 57.

Nebraska has offered 269 more prospects than Clemson. Even some of the Tigers’ peers across the landscape of CFB have been much more abundant in their offers. Ohio State has offered 87 more prospects. Alabama has 93 more offers and LSU has 143 more offers.

So, how has this selective scholarship offering worked for Clemson football?

Well, the Tigers currently have the No. 2-ranked class in the 247 Sports’ Composite class with nine commitments and an average rating of 95.59. Ohio State, who has offered 87 more prospects, is sitting at No. 1, but only has one more commitment (10 total) and has a lower average rating (95.13) than the Tigers.
