Clemson Football: 7 elite recruits who never matched their star-ratings

3. Mike Bellamy, RB (2011)

Mike Bellamy was a 5-star RB who had elite track speed and was set to be the next big thing at Clemson.

Bellamy showed promise during his freshman season, carrying the ball 57 times for 343 yards (6.0 YPC) and three touchdowns, though he did struggle with holding on to the ball at times.

Unfortunately, his Clemson career was cut short when he was ruled academically ineligible for the 2012 fall semester and eventually ended up at East Mississippi Community College. He went on to sign with the Canadian Football League, but was later cut.
