Clemson Football: Top 5 targets for 2021 recruiting class
The 2021 Clemson football recruiting cycle could be yet another big year for the Tigers. Here’s a look at five of the top targets for the Tigers.
The Clemson football coaching staff is constantly recruiting and it’s clear that the coaches have turned their attention towards the 2021 cycle at this point.
The Tigers currently have five commitments in the class- all five are 4-stars, according to the 247 Sports’ Composite rankings– and are looking to get the ball rolling on the class through the spring and summer.
Here’s a look at the five juniors who are committed to Clemson at this point:
- Marcus Tate, 4-star OT
- Jeremiah Trotter Jr., 4-star LB
- Ryan Linthicum, 4-star C
- Dacari Collins, 4-star WR
- Phil Mafah, 4-star RB
Here are five of the top targets for the Clemson football coaching staff as the Tigers look to bring in another elite recruiting class.
5. Jake Briningstool, 4-star TE
We’ll kick off the list with the nation’s No. 1 tight end in Jake Briningstool.
Briningstool seems to be a heavy Clemson lean at this point and is on campus for the Tigers’ Elite Junior Day.
He’s a guy that has the ability to catch the ball, but also does a nice job in the blocking game.
Clemson will likely be replacing Braden Galloway after the 2020 season, so it would be nice to add a high-caliber tight end like Briningstool, who is the only tight end to draw an offer from the Tigers currently in the 2021 cycle.
