The biggest negative is having to go to South Bend in early November. Unlike going to Syracuse where they play in a dome, being outside in November in the Midwest will not be fun from a fan perspective. Yes, South Bend is a bucket list trip for most college football fans and there is no doubt that South Bend will be painted orange.

This last season, the high on November 7th in South Bend was 37 degrees with a low of 26. Since both teams will more than likely be undefeated NBC will put this game on primetime and an 8 pm kickoff. While it will be a lot of fun and a once in a lifetime trip, it’ll be very very cold.

The only other negative looking at the schedule right now is a lot of the young guys are going to get thrown into the fire immediately. Six of the team’s seven games before the bye-week are ACC games and the conference as a whole should be much improved in 2020.

This means young guys that have not seen live snaps against a team’s best players are going to be in unfamiliar situations early and are going to have to sink or swim.

Next. Clemson may have found their next Hunter Renfrow – sort of. dark

Overall, the 2020 Clemson football schedule sets up for another run and should provide for some exciting moments and seven memorable Saturday’s in Death Valley.
