5 reasons Chase Brice will always be a Clemson football legend

3. He could’ve left earlier, but didn’t

Do you remember the mass exodus of quarterbacks when Lawrence came in?

Zerrick Cooper and Hunter Johnson left. Kelly Bryant later elected to transfer after Lawrence surpassed him as a starter.

You can’t fault any of these guys for wanting to better their situation and look for a place where they could get more playing time, but you have to admire Brice for sticking it out.

He could’ve easily walked away around the same time, but instead chose to stick it out for the program and that absolutely should be admired.
