The Clemson football program may have lost the National Championship, but confidence should be at an all-time high moving forward.

Clemson football fans are still licking their wounds from a rough outing in the National Championship game a few days ago.

The Tigers were beaten 42-25 by the LSU Tigers in New Orleans, which was a less-than-satisfying way to close out the 2019 season, to say the least.

Despite the setback in the National Championship, Clemson football fans should be extremely confident moving forward.

Here are five reasons confidence should be at an all-time high.

5. Star-studded recruiting class

We’ll start with the fact that Clemson is bringing in one of the top recruiting classes in the country with talent all over it.

If there’s any indication that the program will be taking a step back, it’s certainly not proving to be the case in recruiting.

Guys like Bryan Bresee, Demarkcus Bowman, EJ Williams, Demonte Capehart and Fred Davis are all set to make major impacts as freshmen. The Tigers have plenty of talent all over the field and this freshmen class is going to be special.

How will Clemson replace the talent lost from 2019? Well, with the nation’s best recruiting class.
