Clemson Football: 5 storylines to watch vs. LSU Tigers
3. The battle between coaching staffs
These are two of the brightest coaching staffs in the nation and I don’t think anyone would argue that point.
The Clemson football program is led by Dabo Swinney and he has several talented coordinators around him, including Tony Elliott, Jeff Scott and the nation’s best assistant Brent Venables.
Ed Orgeron’s staff is no joke, either. Despite LSU having a down year defensively, Defensive Coordinator Dave Aranda is one of the brightest minds in the nation. The Tigers also have a prolific offense coached by Steve Ensminger and Joe Brady (Passing Game Coordinator).
I’m intrigued to see how these two teams adjust during the game. How does Orgeron respond to adversity? We’ve seen how Clemson responds when things look down. We’ve seen how this coaching staff comes together and formulates a plan to win. Will LSU be able to do the same thing?
The chess match between coaching staffs will be a fun aspect to this one.
