4. Can LSU slow down those offensive threats?

We’ve talked a lot about LSU’s talented offense and how Clemson will slow down that Tiger offense. But what about vice versa?

Clemson has two first-round draft picks at wide receiver in Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins who’ll make a major impact, assuming health. The Tigers also possess one of the nation’s top running backs in Travis Etienne with an offensive line that is ranked No. 7 in the nation, according to Pro Football Focus. Just for reference, LSU’s offensive line is ranked No. 30.

LSU has struggled this season to slow down teams that can effectively throw the ball and offer a dynamic running threat- particularly at quarterback.
