5 reasons Clemson will be ‘fairytale crushers’ vs. LSU

2. Under Pressure

I don’t think Joe Burrow will struggle with the spotlight shining bright on him. I don’t think you’ll see LSU come out scared or timid early on.

That being said, I think the pressure of this game is going to be too much for the SEC Tigers when it’s all said and done.

What am I talking about?

LSU is going to have the crowd advantage. While that normally is a ‘plus,’ in a game like this, it could actually backfire in Clemson’s favor. As the game progresses- especially if Clemson gets a lead- we could see more pressure to make a play start to build on the LSU sideline.

That could lead to a turnover, a defensive mistake or momentary lapse that gives Swinney’s team an advantage. It seemed to happen with Ohio State and it very well could be the case with LSU.
