3. 2014 Florida State comparisons

I suppose this comparison is still ‘to be determined,’ but there were a number of analysts and website across the country comparing Clemson football to 2014 Florida State earlier this season.

People were saying that the Tigers were only winning games because they played in a weak conference and that they’d be exposed at some point this season.

Well, that certainly hasn’t happened to this point.

No matter what happens in the CFB Playoff, the 2014 Florida State comparisons were completely wrong and uncalled for considering the culture and stability that Dabo Swinney has placed in this program, versus what Jimbo Fisher had in Florida State.
