The 2020 Clemson football team brings back plenty of talent, but there are a few freshmen who could make an immediate impact for the Tigers.

The cupboard is certainly not bare when one looks at the talent the 2020 Clemson football team will possess.

The Tigers have one of the nation’s top recruiting classes set to join an already star-studded roster that returns the vast majority of its pieces from this season.

With that being said, here are seven incoming freshmen who could make an impact in 2020 for Clemson football.

7. EJ Williams, 4-star WR

EJ Williams, a 4-star WR from Phenix City, Ala, is the first prospect to make our list.

When you look at Williams’ film, it’s pretty clear that he’s good at a lot of things, but he’s not necessarily elite at one particular thing. Williams can do a little bit of it all and truly doesn’t have much of a weakness.

Because of that, there’s a shot he works his way into the two-deep of the wide receiver group at Clemson.

The Tigers have been known for playing wide receivers early in their career and that will likely be the case with Williams, as well. Look for him to compete with the likes of Cornell Powell, Frank Ladson Jr. and Brannon Spector for a spot on the depth chart.
