3. Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne playing lights out

It’s not just Clemson’s defense that is playing lights out, it’s the offense as well.

The Tigers are ranked No. 3 in the nation in total offense and the truth is that this Gamecock defense has struggled to get off the field at times this season when playing an offense with a pulse.

South Carolina was absolutely carved up against Alabama and Texas A&M had a decent amount of success against the Gamecocks, as well.

Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne are being overlooked by the national media, but both are playing at a high level here down the stretch. Lawrence actually has the highest QB-rating in the nation after Oct. 1st and Etienne leads the nation in yards per carry.

When you combine that lethal backfield against a suspect South Carolina defense, it very well could spell trouble for the Gamecocks.
