The Clemson football team will travel to South Carolina this weekend. Here are four reasons the rivalry game may not be close.

The Clemson football team will be looking to improve to 12-0 and finish off the regular season with a perfect record for the second-straight year.

The Tigers currently hold a 26-game winning streak overall and the only obstacle left in their path before the ACC Championship game is in-state rival South Carolina.

Clemson football holds a five-game winning streak over the Gamecocks, but South Carolina will be looking to emphatically put an end to the streak with a monumental upset Saturday afternoon. The Gamecocks enter game as 27-point underdogs, courtesy of the Action Network.

Not only is the rivalry on the line for Clemson football, but so are the Tigers’ CFB Playoff hopes. Clemson is just two wins away from making a fifth-straight appearance in the CFB Playoff, but the Tigers have to take care of business first and that means coming up with a victory in Williams-Brice Stadium.

Though anything can happen in rivalry games- especially on the road- there are certainly plenty of reasons for Tiger fans to be confident coming into this one.

Here are four reasons that Clemson won’t just come away with a win Saturday afternoon, but why the Tigers will blow out their in-state rivals when the two match up on the field just a few hours from now.
