1. Auburn over Alabama (Nov. 30)

There probably would be nothing sweeter than seeing Alabama drop a game against its in-state rival Auburn in the last week of the season, especially if the Tigers enter the game with three losses- assuming a loss to Georgia.

The SEC could eat itself up if things played out as we have laid out here- Missouri beats Georgia; Georgia beats Auburn- and all of a sudden, Alabama could be the next to fall.

Especially if Tua Tagovailoa isn’t healthy, this could be a dangerous road trip for the Crimson Tide, but what if we went a little deeper?

What if Alabama loses this weekend to LSU? The Crimson Tide would suffer their second loss and the SEC would have no path to getting a second team in the playoff- unless the committee puts a two-loss team in, and they absolutely shouldn’t.

What would be sweeter than seeing Alabama falter down the stretch of a season and lose a game to LSU and then to Auburn. Even if the loss against LSU doesn’t happen, it’d still be nice to see the Tide fall to Auburn to close out the regular season.

There are all kinds of ‘what-if’ scenarios that we can play with the remainder of this season. The key for Clemson football will be just continuing to win and hoping for an upset or two. The Tigers have a path to the playoff and they need to remain focused on winning games and taking care of business here in the month of November.
