The Clemson football team will host the Boston College Eagles Saturday as part of Homecoming. Here are our staff predictions for the matchup.

The No. 4-ranked Clemson Tigers will take on the Boston College Eagles Saturday in Death Valley.

The Tigers are currently 7-0 on the season and are carrying a 22-game winning streak- the longest in school-history- into this matchup.

Dabo Swinney will look to have his program ready to take control early and never look back as they enter the game as 34-point favorites.

Here’s a look at our staff predictions heading into the ACC Atlantic matchup.

Shawn Spencer

Score: Clemson 49, Boston College 10

Reason: The Tigers will look to come out firing after a slow first half last weekend against Louisville. The rain could dampen things a little bit, but it’s the expectation that the offense puts up quite a bit of points against Boston College’s diminished defense and that the Tiger defense continues its dominating ways.

Tyreese Ingram

Score: Clemson 45, Boston College 14

Reason: Trevor Lawrence has a big game as Boston College limits Travis Etienne. On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers return the favor and bottle up the BC rushing attack.

Barry Shuck

Score: Clemson 44, Boston College 24

Reason: Clemson- No. 5 defense. Boston College- No. 11 total offense. But the key is the Tigers’ top-10 rushing attack whereas Boston is 81st in stopping the run.

Cole Little

Score: Clemson 45, Boston College 10

Reason: Homecoming is almost certainly going to be a pleasant experience for the Tigers on Saturday. Playing with a backup quarterback under center, the Boston College Eagles will have a very minute chance of experiencing success on offense against a defense that has dominated at Memorial Stadium this season.

Nick Young

Score: Clemson 42, Boston College 10

Reason: Coming off a strong win against Louisville. the Tigers will come back and take a win against Boston College and continue their dominance against the ACC.
