Clemson Football: 5 Tigers to watch vs. Louisville 2019
3. Travis Etienne
Tony Elliott, the co-offensive coordinator for Clemson football, told the media after the Florida State game that the Tigers elected to go with more designed runs and less RPOs (run-pass-option) against the Seminoles.
As a result, Travis Etienne had more carries and the offense looked much smoother.
With Elliott and Jeff Scott finally making this change, it will bode well for Etienne.
Expect Etienne to touch the ball at least 15-20 times a game and he’ll have an opportunity to make some big plays against this Louisville defense, which is probably one of the worst that the Tigers have faced this season.
