4. K’Von Wallace

Throughout the season, we’ve talked a lot about the defensive backfield.

We’ve mentioned Tanner Muse’s physicality and interception against FSU. We’ve talked about AJ Terrell’s consistency- other than the UNC game- we’ve mentioned Derion Kendrick’s pure athleticism and pick-six this past weekend. Nolan Turner has even garnered attention for his work in pass-coverage, as well as stopping the run.

One piece of the defensive backfield we haven’t talked about as much is K’Von Wallace.

Wallace has made some plays this season, especially in pressure, but he just hasn’t made a huge impact or too many highlight-reel plays.

This week, I think we see Wallace make a major impact and perhaps even come up with a forced fumble or interception.
