The Clemson football team will take on Charlotte tonight in Death Valley. What other games can Tiger fans watch throughout the day?
The Clemson football team will host the Charlotte 49ers tonight in Death Valley beginning at 7:30 p.m. Though Tiger fans will want to have their eyes on this one, there are plenty of other games outside of Clemson football to watch, as well.
Each week, Rubbing the Rock gives Clemson football fans a comprehensive TV Guide for some of the most prominent and best games to watch around the nation.
Here’s a look at our TV Guide for Week 4 of the College Football season.
Noon Slate
- Tennessee at #9 Florida, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
- #11 Michigan at #13 Wisconsin, 12 p.m. (FOX)
- #23 California at Ole Miss, 12 p.m. (ESPN U)
- Michigan State at Northwestern, 12 p.m. (ABC)
The noon slate features a couple of decent match ups, but I would imagine the vast majority of eyes will be on that Michigan-Wisconsin game. A loss from either one of these programs could already knock them out of the CFB Playoff hunt, so there’s definitely stakes on the line even though I’d argue that neither are CFB Playoff contenders in all truthfulness.
Afternoon Slate
- #8 Auburn at #17 Texas A&M, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
- #15 UCF at Pittsburgh, 3:30 p.m. (ABC/ESPN 2)
- #22 Washington at BYU, 3:30 p.m. (ABC/ESPN 2)
- Louisville at Florida State, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
- Appalachian State at UNC, 3:30 p.m. (ACC Network Extra)
- South Carolina at Missouri, 4 p.m. (SEC Network)
There’s several interesting games from a Clemson football fan’s perspective Saturday afternoon. From Auburn-Texas A&M to South Carolina-Missouri to App State-UNC (for scouting purposes) this will be a great timeslot to have the tablet fired up and to watch football on several different screens.
Night Slate
- Charlotte at #1 Clemson, 7:30 p.m. (ACC Network)
- Oklahoma State at #12 Texas, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
- #7 Notre Dame at #3 Georgia, 8 p.m. (CBS)
- UCLA at #19 Washington State, 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)
We’ll have a nightcap that features Clemson taking on Charlotte. Tiger fans that aren’t in Death Valley could have a second screen pulled up to watch Notre Dame take on Georgia in a game with early CFB Playoff implications.
