The Clemson football team came away with a 41-6 victory over Syracuse Saturday night. Here are five Tigers who impressed us during the match up.

Coming into the 2019 Clemson football season, everyone pinpointed two games that the Tigers must overcome: The Texas A&M and Syracuse games.

Most said that if the Tigers could get through a home match up with the Aggies and then survive the Carrier Dome against the Orange, they’d be in great shape for getting back to the CFB Playoff.

Well, Clemson football didn’t just win those two games, the Tigers won the match ups emphatically. Clemson defeated those two opponents by a combined score of 65-16 and it could’ve been much worse.

Though Clemson football came away with impressive victories in both match ups, the Tigers acknowledged after the Syracuse game that they still have plenty to improve upon as they head into the remainder of the season.

Against Syracuse, Clemson methodically put the game away. The Orange had a few chances to make it closer, but every time the Tiger defense came up with a stop. The offense left some points on the field, but did what it needed to get the job done.

As we continue to look back at Clemson’s win over Syracuse, here are five Tigers who had impressive performances against the Orange.
