How do injuries look for the Clemson football team heading into the Syracuse game? Here’s our weekly injury report for the Tigers.

Each and every week, Rubbing the Rock gives you an injury report breakdown ahead of the Clemson football game.

The Tigers are on the road this week taking on the Syracuse Orange. The two teams will match up at 7:30 p.m. on ABC live from the Carrier Dome. The game is the first sellout in quite some time for Syracuse football and it’s clear that the Orange will be putting for their best effort in tonight’s contest.

Despite that, Clemson football comes into this one a 28-point favorite and expected to handle the Orange, who just lost 63-20 to Maryland last week.

As we continue to prepare for the start of the ACC Atlantic match up tonight, here’s a look at the injury report for Clemson football.

Injury Report vs. Syracuse

  • LB Bryton Constantin (Out)

Freshman Bryton Constantin is the only member of the injury report this week. Constantin, as previously reported, will be out for the majority of the season and plans to redshirt as he recovers from a torn ACL.

Amazingly, Amari Rodgers is now off of the injury report after missing the Georgia Tech game and returning for the match up against Texas A&M last Saturday.

Rodgers suffered a torn ACL in late March, but made an absolutely astounding recovery. He worked hard over the summer to come back stronger and was able to return much faster than the original timetable, which most believed would be in late November or possibly not until December.

It was great seeing Rodgers back on the field and he looked comfortable out there. We expect to see the coaching staff continue to work him back into the lineup over the course of the next few weeks.

Another injury note is the fact that Syracuse has knocked out the Tigers’ starting quarterback in each of the last two match ups. Clemson’s offensive line will be working especially hard to make sure Trevor Lawrence has a clean pocket to throw from Saturday evening.

Overall, the Tigers are in good shape injury-wise and hopefully that will continue following the match up with the Orange in the Carrier Dome.
