2. Too much talent at wide receiver

Syracuse has an All-American at safety in sophomore Andre Cisco and a few talented options at both cornerback and nickel back.

The defensive backfield for Syracuse coming into the season looked as if the unit had an opportunity to be solid, but they were exposed against Maryland.

The Terps threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns in the win and it very easily could’ve been more.

The Tigers have much more talented options at wide receiver in Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, Amari Rodgers, Frank Ladson Jr., Diondre Overton and Joseph Ngata that will challenge the Syracuse secondary.

There’s too much talent in that wide receiver group and it will be up to Trevor Lawrence to get the ball out to his play-makers.
