3. The battle on the lines of scrimmage

One area to watch of note within the game will be along the lines of scrimmage.

The Tigers boast one of the nation’s best offensive lines while Texas A&M has one of the nation’s top defensive tackles in Justin Madubuike. Though the Aggies must replace starters along the front-seven, there is still plenty of talent around Madubuike.

Defensively, Clemson looked good along the defensive line against Georgia Tech. This week, the Tigers will have a tougher test as they play against an experienced Texas A&M offensive line. The Aggies have some depth and talent along that offensive line to challenge Clemson and perhaps move the ball.

This game will be won in the trenches.
