The Clemson football team will host the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday afternoon in Death Valley. Here are five storylines to watch in the match up.

The Clemson football team got the 2019 season off on the right foot last Thursday with a 52-14 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the nation by both the AP and Coaches’ Poll, will now turn their attention to the Texas A&M Aggies for a match up that will be heavily-watched nationally.

The last time Clemson football played Texas A&M, the Tigers came away with a 28-26 victory in College Station. Despite leading for the majority of the game, the match up was too close for comfort and it was clear that the Tigers were happy to get out of there with a victory.

This time around, Clemson comes into the game as a double-digit favorite. Depending on which booking service you look at, the Tigers are between a 16.5 and 18-point favorite over the Aggies. Texas A&M is ranked as the No. 11 team in the nation, so the spread comes as a bit of a surprise.

Currently, Clemson trails Texas A&M in the overall series with a record of 2-3 vs. the Aggies. The Tigers could tie the series up with a win Saturday afternoon.

As we continue to prepare for the match up against Texas A&M, here are five storylines for Clemson football fans to watch in the game.
