4-star Clemson football WR target EJ Williams is set to announce his decision Saturday. Here’s a look at where the talented prospect will likely land.

4-star Clemson football target EJ Williams is set to make a decision.

The 4-star WR prospect from Phenix City, Alabama will announce his decision at 2 p.m. Saturday during a ceremony.

Williams announced a top-four of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and LSU. The talented athlete had 27 offers and is ranked as the No. 20 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Alabama.

Analysis:

Williams told Bama Insider that he made a final decision on Tuesday, Aug. 14. He told the publication that he looked at the depth charts, the production of wide receivers and the overall culture of each program to make his decision.

From all accounts, it seems that he’s a commitment for Clemson football. Recruiting insiders at 247 Sports have him listed as 100 percent towards the Tigers on his crystal ball and all signs point to Clemson.

Williams visited Tiger Town more than any other school on his list and he reportedly enjoyed his visit during the All-In Cookout, where he got to build relationships with the commitments in the 2020 class.

As far as talent is concerned, we project that Williams will move up the rankings by December.

He is a solid route-runner and is a nice blend of power and athleticism from that wide receiver spot. Williams will likely put on a bit more muscle and could come into Clemson as another 6-foot-3, 200 pound wide receiver option as a freshman.

The Tigers were expected to take two wide receivers in the class of 2020. Clemson received a commitment from 3-star WR Ajou Ajou this summer and if Williams chooses the Tigers Saturday, they could be finished at the position for the current cycle.
