Clemson Football: 10 standouts from fall camp 2019

9. BT Potter

BT Potter comes in at No. 9 on this list for the way he dominated the kicking competition.

Though Potter still is struggling with inconsistency, he made plays to prove that he deserved the place-kicker position.

Potter had one scrimmage where he missed two field goals, but other than that reportedly had a great camp. He followed that bad scrimmage up with one in which he hit a game-winning 51-yard field goal and Dabo Swinney said that Potter hit the hill on one of his kickoffs.

It’s clear that the sophomore has the leg strength and skill to be a talented kicker, the only question is if he can be consistent. For the most part, he’s been just that this fall camp.
