Former Clemson football WR Hunter Renfrow has been one of the stars of the Oakland Raiders’ preseason camp and is in line for a big rookie season.

Former Clemson football WR Hunter Renfrow is already making his name known around the Oakland Raiders organization.

Renfrow has been featured on segments of Hard Knocks, a television program that is taking a behind-the-scenes look at the Raiders this season, and is becoming a more recognizable figure among Raider circles.

More importantly, though, Hunter Renfrow is already proving what kind of player he can be on the field.

He’s already proven that he has the personality, but Renfrow has stepped on the field since Day 1 and proven that he has the ability to play at the elite NFL level. Currently, Renfrow is listed as a starter on the Raiders’ depth chart and he has been a standout performer in preseason camp to this point.

Renfrow made a nice grab that was caught on video during practice. He beat the defensive back and went up made a nice play on the ball while staying in-bounds.

In addition to making nice plays and continuing to show his ability, it seems that Renfrow is building chemistry with Raiders starting QB Derek Carr.

It comes as no surprise to Clemson football fans that Renfrow is performing at a high level through the first part of preseason camp. The former Clemson football wide receiver has some of the best hands in the country and is deceptively quick. Though he may not look the part, Renfrow is an elite athlete who is going to make a difference because of his ability to catch anything thrown his way.

The Raiders recognized those traits during the 2019 NFL Draft and that’s going to pay off for them over the course of Renfrow’s career as a slot wide receiver.
