The Clemson football team is back on the practice field preparing for the upcoming season. Here are the five most intriguing position battles for 2019.

The 2019 Clemson football season is just a few weeks away from kickoff.  On the last Thursday of August, the Tigers will take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on what will be the debut game for the ACC Network.

Before the beginning of that matchup, though, the team has a lot of work to put in.

The Clemson football team will run through two weeks of intensive practice sessions where they will push each other to get better.

The Tigers will scrimmage, run through situations, get players caught up on the system and perfect techniques all before the beginning of the season.

Though Clemson football fans don’t get to watch the practices up close and personal, there are still plenty of things to keep your eyes on. One of the most prominent things to watch is position battles. Coaches will reveal information throughout fall camp on how players are faring and what needs to happen going forward.

The coaching staff will challenge certainly guys to step up and practice at a higher level, while they commend others for the work they’ve put into camp.
