The 2019 Clemson football season will kick off in just a few weeks. Here are our five biggest concerns for the upcoming season.

The 2019 Clemson football team is officially running through fall camp as the Tigers prepare for the upcoming season.

The last time we saw the Tigers in a competitive game, they were beating Alabama 44-16 for the National Championship. Clemson football took it to the Crimson Tide and left no doubt as to who the best team was and what the Tigers were capable of accomplishing.

Now, Clemson will enter the 2019 season looking to defend its National Title.

Should the Tigers find a way to win another National Championship, they’d be one of just two programs since 1970 to win consensus back-to-back National Titles. The other two are Nebraska and Alabama.

It’s a long road back to the playoff, though, and there are many things for the Tigers to work on and improve upon before postseason play.

Though this team doesn’t have many question marks and- at least on paper- looks better than all of its opponents, things don’t always work out that way on the field. When looking at the team as a whole, it’s clear that this could be a special group, but there are always areas in which they can improve.

Here are our five biggest concerns for the 2019 Clemson football team.
