1. Needed Leadership

The one area that all Clemson football fans should keep their eyes on is in the leadership of the team.

Last season, the Tigers had plenty of veterans who knew what to expect and were willing to put the work in to make the team better. Clelin Ferrell, Christian Wilkins, Austin Bryant, Kendall Joseph, Hunter Renfrow, Justin Falcinelli and Mitch Hyatt are all gone.

Those were all guys who were respected leadership on last year’s team, just to name a few.

Now, new veteran leaders must emerge. Guys like Nyles Pinckney, Justin Foster and Jordan Williams on the defensive line. Isaiah Simmons and James Skalski at linebacker. K’Von Wallace, Tanner Muse and AJ Terrell at safety.

Trevor Lawrence, Tee Higgins, Gage Cervenka, John Simpson and others on the offensive side of the ball.

It’s going to be important that leaders emerge during the course of fall camp. That could be the difference between another championship season and falling short when it’s all said and done.
